The English Football Association has decided, according to British media, to remove the armband to captain by John Terry.
The reason for this decision is that the Chelsea defender was expected to face trial in July, accused by Anton Ferdinand of QPR for racist abuse that took place last October, a match of two teams to the premier league.
Terry, however, who denies the charges, is expected to be available to Fabio Capello for the EURO 2012.
